Truly The Pearl of Phu Quoc: This trip is a lovely way to see the 5 main produce of the Phu Quoc Island; Pearls, Red Pepper, Fish Sauce, Sim Wine and natural Honey. During this trip you will also learn how to make one of Vietnam’s favorite dishes: Bánh xèo which is a Vietnamese Rice flour pancake.

TOUR INTRODUCTION:

Phu Quoc’s varied landscapes, distinct seasons has created an island rich in natural resources. These resources led to the name Phú Quốc, which literally translates to ‘rich country’. This trip is a lovely way to see the 5 main produce of the Island; Pearls, Red Pepper, Fish Sauce, Sim Wine and natural Honey. During this trip you will also learn how to make one of Vietnam’s favorite dishes, Bánh xèo which is a Vietnamese Rice flour pancake.

TOUR PROGRAM:

  • 08:30 am: Pick up at the hotel by tour guide;
  • 09:00 am: Visit the Pepper Farm. You’ll find pepper plantations mostly around the central and northern parts of the island and most farmers won’t mind you stopping to take photos or viewing these amazing storks of pepper trees or the drying pepper. You can also buy pepper products to bring home as souvenirs, to impress your friends and relatives.
  • 10:00 am: Visit the Pearl farm: pearl is a famous special product of Phu Quoc island; here, tourist can observe the pearl growing and harvesting process;
  • 10:30 am: Visit a Sim wine factory
  • 11:00:  The fish sauce or “nước mắm” in Vietnamese, that is made on Phu Quoc Island is of such high standards that some local producers are even eligible for the elite “Geographical Indication”, distinguishing them from other brands. During this trip, you will visit one of the many fish sauce distilleries in Duong Dong.
  • 11:30: At the Phu Quoc Bee Farm, you will have time to listen to all explanations about the honey bee, useful information about the value of honey bee, understand why people need to protect the health of pollinators, especially honey bees. Enjoy drink with honey.
  • For compete your day, you will also learn how to make one of Vietnam’s favorite dishes, Bánh xèo which is a Vietnamese Rice flour pancake.
  • 14:30 pm:  Drop off at your hotel.
